We specialize in providing old-fashioned service, attention to detail and traditional, conservative grading using ABAA standards and terms.  We ship daily or, at most, each second day.  Any required shipping adjustments will be submitted to you, for approval, immediately.  We use Ahearn's definition of the term "First Edition", to paraphrase, 'To the serious collector or dealer it is first trade edition, and its jacket, as the first copy came off the press'.  Any exceptions to this are always noted.  60 Catalogs on-line, satisfaction assured.  Thank you.

1 Koopstra, H.-Welsch, Roger Tractoren Voor De Landbouw-Busted Tractors and Rusty Knuckles and a 3rd
Haarlem Uitgeverij v/h A. Kemperman 1949 Presume 1st Hardcover Good Fair- Book
The Koopstra is an unusual and apparently quite scarce book. Text appears to be in Dutch (the language of Holland/ The Netherlands) and unknown to me. I surmise that it is a repair manual. Book has notable upper corner bump, slight convex board warping, mild, small stain bottom edge of text. Heavily illustrated text is clean and bright, binding sound if far from crisp. Jacket is very rough, multiple tears and smudges, abrasions, but really adds beautifully to the book in it's mylar wrapper. It seems likely to have been done for the Amish/Mennonite market. JUST RECEIVED and added to the listing another tractor title, both as a pair (now 3 see below) at the listed price with one-book priced domestic media mail shipping, trade paperback of Welsch's BT&RK sub-title, Norwegian Torque wrench techniques etc. Crisp probably unused copy, no marking. Also newly recd. and added Lee Klancher's 'Tractor In The Pasture' 'rusting icons of rural America.' Slender jacketed hard cover quite decent shape wise, clean, tight copy, unmarked. Both of these last 2 are in English. *We feel that books offered for internet sale should be described thoroughly and accurately. Books listed by Brass Dolphin are so described, and graded, using the strict, traditional standards. For this reason, we have virtually zero returns.*
