Chicago Reilly & Britton 1910 Presume Later Printing Hardcover Fair+ Fair- Book
Please excuse a rather lengthy description. We assume the book to be a later printing as it does not have the indicators per Mcbride, and other sources. IE no "same date" and this title is not the last listed in the series titles on the back dust jacket panel, also worth noting that the jacket is unpriced in the customary location, though prices are given on back panel. Note that 'no additional printings' are shown and that the copyright date is done in rough set type. A remarkable assortment of good/bad are present and will be addressed. Book has superb blue 3 color stamped cover, notable cocking, some flecks to text fore edge, minimal abrasion given it's age, minimal bumping/shaping around text bolck of boards. Text and illustartions are complete and attractive, binding sound. Jacket should, perhaps, be graded poor rather than fair-, but I love the damned thing and can't seem to go that low. This said, it has double and triple postage stamp chip outs at head and foot of spine respectively. Front panel, reads beautifully, though it has wear issues (creasing, small chips) as well, back panel similar. Will shoot both book and jacket for upload soon. *We feel that books offered for internet sale should be described thoroughly and accurately. Books listed by Brass Dolphin are so described, and graded, using the strict, traditional standards. For this reason, we have virtually zero returns.*
